Courtney Dutra
Artists and Yogi
Courtney completed her 200 hr and 300 hr yoga teacher training at Down Under School of Yoga in Brookline under the instruction of Natasha Rizopoulos. At Down Under she has completed all four phases of the Art of Assisting training program with Masaaki Okamura and Einat Peled-Katz. Her class emphasizes alignment to maximize the benefits of each pose while preventing injuries. She enjoys sharing this practice with others in hopes that they find their own personal benefits.

Courtney began her painting studies at the Maryland Institute - College of Art in Baltimore, MD, where she developed the foundation of her art education. After two years she transferred to Boston University where she completed her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in painting.
Post Graduating with A BFA, Courtney continued her artistic studies by receiving a Certificate of Graphic Design from the Boston University School of Fine Art Graduate Program.

Courtney draws her inspiration from her everyday surroundings. Her work is often strictly observation, fueled by relationships and history; Courtney loves the process of seeing, studying, and imitating.
Courtney currently lives, paints and practices in Edinburgh, UK with her husband and cats.
